They get rid of outside noise, they are like a special kind or something.
Then theres this box thingy connected to the wires and it says noise canceling on it, and i had to put a battery in it.
So yeah, they are different :P

My other headphones are a few years old and the wire is not very long so they always came unplugged.

It's called an in-line control box, very interesting.
It also comes with a 2 pin airplane adapter for listening to them in an airplane :P

Only about 3 minutes, it was very easy to figure out.
The music sounds so good now :D
I can't hear stupid outside noise, and the noise coming out of the headphones sounds very good.
