Whenever I ask, I always get the response, "economically depressed." I'm not quite sure what to make of it. All I know is, the money I can use to get an 800 square foot condo in Queens can get me a house that's roughly 3000 sq. ft. upstate. Taxes should definitely be less than LI for sure too.

Probably be even more of a discrepancy in price comparing Manhattan to upstate prices. Houses have room between each other--that is enough to get me to want to live there...lol

If you ever get the chance to have proper made haggis, from a butcher's, you should try it. It's not as gross as people think. Well, sure, offal is a weird thing to eat in this day and age, but it looks like mince meat. And tastes like it.Deihjan
