So, just got around to watching 'The Hunger Games' yesterday. The movie's entertaining, but it didn't meet the hype my friends/people on forums were making. It was good enough to convince me to take a look at the books, has anyone read them? How are they in comparison to the movie (in this case, the first book compared to the movie)? The film seemed to lack depth, is that the case with the book?
