I find that you have to be sure that the person you marry fully understands what marriage really is.True. If you don't totally agree on what it means and entails you might have issues. And you don't want to marry someone who does something stupid and then says "Oh I didn't know that was going to be bad for our marriage!" B.S.
It seems to me that if you feel this way, it's a good sign. The overwhelming majority of marriages that don't work is due to a nonchalant attitude about the union between the two people.I'm scared of marriage myself. :( It terrifies me.Mainly for that reason I guess.

Also too if you have any doubts before you get married dont get married.Holy crap. I've been flirting with this guy for almost 4 hours. X.xscorch-62Wow.....thats quite the flirt session. :P
Also too if you have any doubts before you get married dont get married. ZombiefiedZomBI know someone who has an "open marriage." I can't even stand "open relationships." Maybe I'm too old-fashioned.

I certainly want to be careful and think of everything before taking the plunge. But I might be unreasonably paranoid and doubtful. It's not the person I doubt it's the "marriage". I think I watch too much tv and hear too many tabloid stories because I'm scared witless that I'll get cheated on and taken for a ride during the divorce. It's everywhere these days. So how do I get past that? Ugh.

They seem okay to me IF and only if it makes both parties happy and it's what they truly want. If it keeps people from being betrayed and hurt, and both parties benefit from it, mkay.
Doesn't mean I'd go for that kinda thing though! So not happening! :P

So how do I get past that? Ugh.Perhaps there is an underlying trust issue with a potential partner? Maybe it's partly a self-esteem issue? I believe if you get to the point where you completely trust someone and you have a similar lifes-tyle (sorry, forbidden word, grrr) and outlook, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. I will admit that such a person is very hard to find. :Pbinpink

I just can't imagine the dynamics of such a relationship. To me it indicates an commitment issue - definitely not desirable. But what do I know?I'm tired, should I sleep?thriteenthmonkeI'd try to stay up another half hour or so. C'mon! You can do it! :P

Sadly those first two things are factors. The second at least partially because of the first. But it's getting better and I'm working hard at getting back to complete trust. Then yea, nothing to worry about, and ready for marriage! Piece of cake! :P

Jk. :)
I've heard of a few. But they're RARE and don't always last for long. I think there are issues there too. It's strange.

Hello comrades:DoptiowHullo thar. My fleet got crashed today. :x I almost want to give up that game....or smash the keyboard over his head or something. :|
[QUOTE="quadraleap"] MC Kosh, ranked number 8. Got me with 3,000 battlecruisers. :( That was the last of my fleet that escaped from my previous conflict...and Im done with fleets. Im putting my resources elsewhere. Good luck going against them. Thats a death wish. :PoptiowHe got me as well when I was a noob. ~Make one fortified planet, and transport everything there. It stops them attacking. My alliance says it is bad, but I have never had an attack there since I fortified it. ~~What was the size of your fleet?
He just wanted to crash my fleet and he could probably tell I was going for Graviton cuz I had 100K power. I saw he probed me the other day and fleet saved, but he got me when I wasnt looking. :( Thats pretty much what I do re: planets. I nurture the ones with big fields and gradually get rid of the small ones. The fleet gave me a 20% moonchance, lets put it that way. Not to mention a few thousand solar sats. Course he stole that so I didnt get a moon. :x
