Fortunately, I haven't really ran into rude people when I'm visiting other cities or places. Most of the people and workers in the tourists parts of the cities are nice.
Worst experience was in San Diego (still my favorite city) where I lost my wallet so I had no money or ID. I was with my Uncle and we were trying to get back to the hotel at 10 pm or something like that. Anyway, we went to the bus station and tried to buy a ticket for Oceanside, but for some reason (policy or something) i needed my ID to buy a ticket and my uncle wasn't allowed to buy it for me (again, policy or something). We explained to the ticket dude (don't know what you call those people) my plight, but he would not budge and was kind of a douche about it. Eventually we found another bus station owned by a different company ( i think it was grayhound) and made it back to the hotel.
San Francisco.
I live in San Jose. Deal with it all the time.
It's the hipsters, isn't it?
Nigeria
Damn Indz, you gotta step up your game, man. Nigeria is a country, not a city. I know you were trying to jab at TC, but come on, buddy. :P

Hipsters and basic bitches/brodudes.
Quite clearly you have never been to any southern U.S. cities. Try going to one of those and not being 100% white.

Been to Gulfport (Mississippi), Mobile Bay (Alabama), Pensacola (Florida), and other cities in that region. I have yet to see anyone being rude to my wife and kids.
The question is, "Have YOU been to any city in the US South?"
Any city that I've had the pleasure of visiting within the province of Quebec. If you don't speak french and come from anywhere else, don't except a warm welcome or friendly people. Oh and have fun reading the signs that don't house the countries main language, English. So wish they'd just said **** you your only speaking English from now on back in the day. Because now theirs this shit french section of the country that doesn't mesh with the rest of it.
Hard to say. Most cities I've visited are not very rude. Stockholm, Istanbul, Berlin or Tunis perhaps

We visited Ottawa (Tulip Festival) and Montreal (UEFA with some Italian friends). The locals were pretty nice to us Yanks.
When the roles were reversed and the Frenchies visited the casinos at Messina, Turning Stone, and Vernon Downs, we returned the favor by being nice to them.
definitely Montreal. I haven't visited many places in my life, but they were all nicer than Montreal. It sucks that I go to school there

SF, really ? This is the most accepted city in the world, anything goes. Someone was rude to you? How rude !
Yes, the homeless people and the cops.
@yoshiyoshi:
No, GS it is a country lol.
And OT a city. I guess System Wars is the capital.
@nigeriaforlife: By far the rudest is London. (If it counts as a city)
People push you everywhere, everyone ignores you if you need help, Cars try to make people walk faster at the lights by nearly running into them (Happened to me)
@thegerg: Not really sure but I have seen lots of discussions about it over the internet so I just included it in for that reason
In the US, Boston and New Jersey. I actually find people in the west coast friendly but not genuine. Around the world, China has some of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered.

I have a feeling you're not actually basing that on any real experience just your preconceived notion of the south. I have a lot of time in various southern states (since Air Force has a lot of bases in the south) and all of the interactions with locals are always very pleasant. People there certainly live up to the reputation of southern hospitality.
And no, I'm not 100% white.
Quebec City
^^ Came here to say just that.
What is it about Quebec that gives it that notorious reputation? I've never been to the place but worked under an immigrant from there and damn, I wish I never crossed paths with that dipshit.
