Not for most of the past 15 years, he hasn't.[QUOTE="Bourbons3"][QUOTE="999realthings"]
At least Eddie Murphy proves that he can be a good actor

Well there was Dreamgirl or something wasn't there :?
Dreamgirls and Haunted Mansion. Other than that, not much worth mentioning.I thought Toby MacGuire was fine in 1 and 2. Spiderman was never supposed to be totally badass and what not. However, the third movie was just all over the place.xionvalkyrie
Yeah, the third one was a mess, but I for one thought it was still a highly entertaining movie, and I'm a sucker of those emotional moments.
Well it's not like Spiderman was cool out of costume anyway... and whenever he's in costume, it doesn't matter who plays him.SolidSnake35True but we both know he spends more time out of the costume than in it!

Would be interesting, he'll need to cut the shaggy look and put on some acting chops if we want to believe this guy cannot get women. It'll really bring out his ability (or possible inability) to be a real actor.
For the time being, I'm just going to check this as rumor and speculation. But if it is true, I wonder if Sony will realize that this will more than likely alienate the comic fans in exchange for bringing in the Twilight/High School Musical/Tween crowd. Will it be a fair trade-off? Who knows...
He's average and I don't know what girls see in him. From what I understand, Efron is actually a pretty competent actor. My only problem is that he's too good looking to play Peter Parker. Peter's a nerd, and that's one thing I think Toby McGuire nailed.

Tell me I'm crazy, but I could totally see Shia Lebaouff (sp?) playing this role.
Like, I probably am crazy, but he seems well fitted for this type of thing.
Idk.
