I find it funny that US & EU are allowed to have nuclear weapons by the thousands yet Iran can't. It's also funny that the US & EU are telling other nations what they can and can't do, while the same time attacking countries for their OIL. Who is the real aggressor here?

Even though I'm an Asian(Malaysian Chinese) I would have the U.S. as the leading world power than Russia or China.

They can because they are stronger. I mean if someone really hates you and always threatens to kill you, you would be concerned if he started buying weapons. And you will do everything you can from doing so.

That's not a surprise, Russia and Iran have been good pals for a long time.

As for Ahmadenijad, I'd have more respect for him were he the actual, legitimately elected leader of Iran.

[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"][QUOTE="fidosim"] Certainly you think it would be a good thing that the U.S. would isolate itself, because you're not an American. However, we have to look out for our own interests.fidosim
... Surely you do not agree with the United States foriegn policy in the past 50 years?

Despite some mistakes, we've maintained our supremacy in the world. The 20th century is called the American Century for a reason.

its called american century only by americans

That's probably the worst thing that could happen. It doesn't solve anything - in fact it only creates more problems. Such action would unite Iran politically around an oppressive regime, and they would most likely retaliate by creating instability in parts of Iraq and Afghanistan, among other things.

I agree with you. An attack on my country would be great for Khamenei and Ahmadinejad. It will close the rift in the Iranian society within seconds, rally my compatriots (opposition and supporters alike) around their flag and their leaders and postpone any attempts at changing their regime from within.

Maybe the US needs to ask them self why countries in the middle east hate them so much? Maybe it's because they invade defenseless countries, kill inoicent people and in the process steal oil that isn't their's. As for the killing comment, a couple of thousand terrorist does not give you the right to attack other nations when 99% of the nation population has nothing to do with actions of couple of terriorist. It's just plain wrong and the same goes for the terriorists.

We never took any of Iraq's oil...you can't even remotely prove that. In fact Chinese companies won nearly all of the contracts for Iraqi oil.

I'm not talking about invading a nation, just not letting them acquire nuclear weapons.

You missed my point completely. What I am saying is that it's wrong for the US to tell other countries what they can and can't do while themself are doing the exact if not worse things. See the US & EU are saying that Iran is the aggressor while at the same time the US & EU are at war in Afghanistan and Iraq. Then they tell other countries that they can't have nuclear weapons while themself have thousand's. It's called being a hypocrite.

Sure US invaded Iraq at a cost of billions of dollars to hunt down a couple of terriorist?

You should also do some research how greedy american companies have made billions by making and selling weapons for the war. This current war in Iraq is all about making money.

They're using it for recruitment, nothing wrong with that. As for using it for other things, that's their job. Ever intelignece agency in the world uses every source of info they can get their hands on. Just because the CIA has an official page dosn't mean their the only intel agency using it.
