Stargate's Davis Is Dead

Gateworld reported that Don S. Davis, who played Maj. Gen. George Hammond on SCI FI Channel's Stargate SG-1 for seven seasons, died June 29 after suffering a heart attack. He was 65.

Just because he doesn't like a crappy spin off show from an okay movie?

Sad that he died, but I gotta say....meh.

Im a true Sci Fi fan, i love Dune, Battlestar Galactica, and Issac Asimov...

But Stargate was and always has been trash in my opinion

the movie was ok, but the show was awesome and wasnt just a spin-off, today Stargate means SG-1, more than the movie

I'm not a fan of Stargate, so I'm not sure who you're talking about.

Though I was sad to learn that Stan Winston (special effects genius behind such films as Terminator and Jurassic Park and who worked on creating the Alien Queen in Aliens and designed the Predator) had passed away a short time ago.
