Saddest part in a movie, that nearly made you cry?

Ugh the movie is so mediocre

it still made me cry after seeing the movie again :cry:

I can only really remember shedding tears when watching Forrest Gump the part when he goes to his mother's grave. Oh man I always lose it at that part lol.

well, technically yes, she does die, but in the end, he marries Jenny and she dies too from HIV i think.

i dont remember what it was exactly. but it was jenny's grave he visits. i looked it up on wikipedia.

I've only cried when I was real young during a movie. It was when I was about 4 and I watched babes in toyland...it scared me too...maybe thats why I cried. Anyways the other one that I have come close to was King Kong when...spoiler he dies.

All Ralph Fiennes movies tend to make me cry- Schindler's List, The English Patient, The Constant Gardener, and the latest one, The Reader.

The entire movie Grave of the fireflies. Saddest movie ever.

I literally lost it at the end of "A Beautiful Mind".

Forrest Gump is a movie that makes me tear up consistently. Not just because it is sad, because it is also a beautiful story. It's amazing how pure the narrative is; theres no political crap or cynical @#()$ to spoil it. eh7nkjn4bFFF9nw

During 'Black Hawk Down'; when the squad fail to defend the crashed helicopter from the local insurgents. The part where the bodies are carried off is always hard to watch.

The thing about Requiem for a Dream is that it isn't a "Aww that's sad" kind of sad. It's a kick in the nuts, soul crushing, hopeless, no light at the end of the tunnel kind of sad. I think the someone equated plot/characters to "Skydiving without a parachute, and the movie ends ten minutes after you hit the ground."
