I saw Inside Out recently and...Holy shit when Bing Bong died.......that was sooooo sad. Tears started forming in my eyes, which very rarely ever happens while watching a movie. I couldn't help but think maybe that was the saddest moment in a Pixar movie, possibly even sadder than the opening scene of Up. Am I wrong or is there another that's even sadder?

The beginning of U, not when Ellie dies, but when they couple realize that they won't be able to have children. That's heartbreaking enough for any couple, but to see it on screen so simply like that is tear-worthy. It follows in the tradition of Wall-E, providing incredibly emotional moments without the need of dialogue.

There's a very strong argument to be made for this scene. Although I also admit to tearing up a bit at Bing Bong. Also Andy playing with Buzz and Woody in TS3.

I guess the beginning of UP is a lot sadder, but I found that the end part where he looks through the photo album hit me a lot harder emotionally

Also, bing-bong was pretty harsh

When Coral dies by protecting all of her eggs from the shark in the beginning of Finding Nemo.

When we learn that Anton Ego’s mother used to make him ratatouille as a young boy.

And when the equally painful Sarah McLachlan song, “When She Loved Me,” plays along to the flashback.

The opening of Up convinced me that my mother and sister are, in fact, highly advanced autonomous robots with a poor imitation of the human limbic system. As I sat there, trying to hold back the tears, I glanced over in their direction and neither so much as even looked slightly bothered. Not a single emotional response. They'll fucking cry during The Holiday, though.

They're all sad because Pixar is a bunch of sadistic assholes.

The beginning of Up, BingBong dying, the scene where the toys almost get incinerated in Toy Story 3, Andy plays with the toy's for the last time, and when Wall-E doesn't remember Eve.

The beginning of Up will likely be most people's answers.

That scene was just heart-wrenching. Dem feels.

I haven't seen Inside Out yet, so for me it was the beginning of Up.
