Safari 4 freezes

I have the Windows version of Safari and when I try to load any web page Safari periodically freezes for about 5-10 seconds, then continues to load. It sometimes does it multiple times on every page. Also, when typing this sometimes occurs. I've tried clearing the cache and cookies, defrag, disk cleanup etc but it still happens. What's going on?

I prefer it over Firefox and IE.

It could be a memory leak.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Well, it WAS faster when I downloaded it.

try reinstalling, mabby it will help...

or mabby clear the history

I'm going back to Firefox. Thanks anyway.
