We shouldn't have invaded Iraq in the first place---there are NO WEAPONS of MASS DESTRUCTION (the number one reason why we were there). And now that we're there, who here really believes that the country will stabilize in a few years? Be serious, that region of the country has been fighting for hundreds of years--what makes us think we'll stabilize it in a few more years? Again, that's George Bush talk. And as far as terrorism goes, you cut off one head, another will take its place----fact. Wars don't stop terrorism--they only fuel it. Start a plan to get the troops out now---there's no shame in admitting defeat and that we took on more than what we thought there would be. Well when there is no chance of diplomacy or negotiations there is not many other options. If the people want change they will revolt. Why force change?
If the people went against saddam they would be brutally killed. They did want change and needed help but now america have been screwing around so much they just want them out because it's almost as bad as when saddam was in power.

The War in Iraq was first decision, when it was suppose to be the last course POSSIBLE. We have pissed off a good 90% of the world, and made terrorist groups become more popular then ever before.. If anything we committed diplomatic suicide when we had this retarded adminstration elected.

We are not suppose to yet we still are devolping even more.. Devolpment of a missle defense systems violates both space treaty as well as the ballistics treaty, which we have tried to ENFORCE on places such as North Korea..Â
 Lets not forget torture as well... Ironically enough statistics have been released that we arguably have tortured more then Saddam's government did in the past.. Lets also not forget it was THE UNITED STATES who gave him those weapons..

Thing, or things I should say, you have to rleaize is A)there will ALWAYS be people who hate us and want to kill us B)Security is an illusion. When I say security I'm talking about being safe, no one is really truly ever safe. We're just tricked into thinking this way. What I would do is worry about bettering an d protecting our country. you do not have to go all the way out to bum phuck egypt to do this either. In fact that is a pretty unrealistic notion as you can not police the world. I can understand going there to get a certain person or group of people, but staying there LONG after this person has evaded our military is just absurd. When you think about it, why are we even still there??? Even if we do stay there forever it will just give other groups more power as we have less troops to put forward to that cause. Â

This is a war on a religion, not a war on a specific people, as almost every single war in human history has been. And every single war that has been started by religion, IE., the Crusades, the Inquisition, has been a failure. The Crusaders failed to retain the Holy Land under a European coat of arms, and I've already said something about the Inquisition. Take a lesson from history, because few people on here seem to want to.
