Scenario: You were told you had 48hrs. to live. Would you believe it?

Let's just say you were walking down the street and some stranger with tattered clothes yelled at you "2 more days! 2 more days till we all die!!! :o" Woud you just walk around him ignoring his remarks or take advantage of your time left on Earth. Would you announce to the man/woman you love to them, or would you keep living your normal life knowing that there might never be a chance for you to let him/her kow?

So, what would you do in this scenario?

The man has probably said that to other people. I just hope he was right for some other guy.

Well if he or she were some sort of oracle or the messiah, a prophet, etc etc; I'm not sure I would believe them if they were running around on the streets looking homeless and screaming nonsense. I'm sure they would compose themselves in a more professional manner instead of randomly shouting at strangers. In this scenario, I go about my days until my time was up. Be it two days from now or many years down the road.

I'd use my remaining days to discover the origin of the prophecy and prevent my approaching death.Silent-Hal

Someone in tattered clothes. So like a hobo. If he's a hobo I wouldn't believe him, I would just assume he's a crazy person living in a cardboard box.

I would then say You've got 3 seconds to live. I would then pull out a gun and shoot him

I would laugh, think about it for a while, then eventually forget about the whole thing.

Remember, I said till we ALL die. If you were seeing others panicking then some creepy man tells you 2 more days till we all die, wouldn't you at least be a little scared?turbotoby95

Well, there is an individual whom seems quite adamant in convincing me that i am in her world, and because of this, i should become a doctor so i can take care of her and ensure her survival, and thus by this, ensure my own survival. I probably wouldn't believe them, especially if they were a total stranger, and then I'd just go on with my life normally.
