School Spirit?

Mine is non-existent lol, i don't get it alot of people have some spirit and go to all the football games and they hate school. I don't get why'd you support something you hate, it's nearly like voting for the other canidate in the election. I'm even in the school marching band (yeah i pretty much hate that too) but i just do it for the free pe credits and it's an easy class except for getting up earlier.

I just don't get school spirit, am i alone?

My former high school has no spirit either.

I went to a football game last year, and the road team was much, much louder. Seeing as crowd noise is a huge factor in football, and the student section was dead silent in a close game, I decided to try to help them out by leading chants and what not. They took it personally, asked why I was talking ****, and went whining to their principle, who kicked me out.

Stupid people like being told what to do and like in high school. So they support their school because people with megaphones tell them to cheer on cue.yabbicoke

I have school spirit (college here). I plan on going to some football games this season.

Same with me. And people always say "You should be proud of your school," etc., all that. Uh...why? There's no point. To hell with "school spirit." :roll:

Nothing wrong with school spirit. Makes sporting events better and brings the school together better.

People think it is stupid and I agree when it is overdone though some school spirit is actually a good thing.
