School tomorrow!! (for most people I think)

Mine starts Wednesday and I'm hating every moment it draws nearer. One of my professors even emailed us a HW assignment BEFORE classes actually begin! :evil:Renegade_Fury

That stinks lol. I remember my high school gave us a summer reading list about 6 months before our first day of freshman year lol.

Im glad school is starting tomorrow. I need something to do, and I want to see some friends.

Yea, same here. I've been pretty bored this summer. But I'm going to a new school, so I don't really know anybody, but it's college.

Ive been out of school for 4 years and let me give u a little advice for your first day

I'd actually wouldn't mind if that was the case and if the email wasn't sent this week. This is college though, and it's just some bull to help eliminate students from the class, (even the prof admits it). CAL always tries to make it seem as if it's super poor with never having enough classes...:roll:

Arghhh, yes I have school tomorrow. And I have an AP literature test the first or second day which I am completely unprepared for.

But it's my senior year so it'd better be rocking.. :P

Senior year is always the greatest, but dont spoil it with your fancy smancy AP classes and get caught up in books, senior year is about having fun! Unless you want to get in Princeton :|

Lol, that's lame. Cal is not poor with how much they charge for tuition lol. I'm glad my tuition for SF State isn't nearly that high. My high school was actually pretty damn poor though; we never got funding for anything. =/

My classes start today (currently 1:30AM).

This year shouldn't be as bad as my previous years since I have fridays off school and work.

Still, I'm not excited at all except for my programming class.

Oh cool, you go to SF state? I have a friend who goes there as well.

Well I guess in a wider perspective 8K isn't too bad in comparison to a private school where they charge around 40-50k. That, and I commute so I can avoid the ridiculous dorm fees. :P

I don't know what Cal's problem is though. They have to get millions from donations at least, and yet you always have to fight to get into classes.

Sorry to hear about your HS. Mine had the funding, but they overcharged you for every little thing still. They used to say our money was going towards watering the plants or some baloney like that...

Or ya know, want a challenge or earn college credits. I only took 2 AP this year, Gov and Psych. Both of the teachers are cool so its no really biggy...

Yeah. All my classes are APs. But I'm only taking four classes and get off at noon, so it shouldn't be too bad. The AP teachers are some of the best teachers at the school, so I'm not too bummed out by the extra workload. :)
