I'm really looking foward to my senior year next year. Even though a part of me feels like a senior this year because at my school Junoirs are the highest class at my school. No senior class.

I love when all the little Freshman and Somphores suck up to us and some other pretty nice privalleges for being the oldest too.

In no way is it as hard as your schedule is, i mean damn.

This year I have Business Law, Web Design, AP Spanish, AP Lit, Biotech 3, Bioinformatics, and Pre-Calculus.

I've been holding my own, so its not that bad. But I think the most stressful thing is the college application process. And it wouldn't be so stressful if my Mom would just calm down. And give me a break.

Yet you still find time for GameSpot... :P My senior year was easy, I only had to go for one class and a study hall (which I completed any homework from that class in) each day, then I had the rest of the day to either be lazy or work.double_decker
Your King of Lazy :P My last year is so easy its a joke but I may end up having to go a full day in the end of Jan which won't be fun if I have to

I wanted to do a half day.

But it was too conflicting with my schedule. To stay at the school I'm at, I have to take these specificcourses. If I don't, I'm back to the other high school which is somewhere I would never want to be.

My senior year currently is very easy. Half my classes are either on the PC or art. I never had homework and maintain an A average. :)

Man i thought senior years were supposed to be fun but i think i am ruining my senior year. I made too difficult of a schedule for myself, even though i know plenty of people probably have harder schedules then me.

My Classes are BioChem, Ap Chem, Forensic Science, English IV, Applications of Computer Tech II, Ap Spanish, Ap Environmental science, Law in America, and Pyschology.

Almost every week or two i have a five page lab report due. My spanish teacher starts eight projects at a time. I have tons of homework a night. I have no life at all this year =(.

So anyways to end my rant and start a discussion, How was/is everyones senior year in high school?

Avistann

It all depends on what you want.  HS is nothing more than preparation for college.  If you don't really care for science then only take min req for it and say **** it.  Think about what your doing here your taking foreign language, with 3 or 4 sciences classes along with american law. It looks like your into science since you are taking mostly science classes anyway I would say stick with that if you like and drop the foreign language and american law.  If you like foreign language drop the science those two usually don't mix.  If you like law drop the science it won't do you much good as a lawyer.

You probably won't need a foreign language with a science degree unless you plan to go to south america.

To begin with, it's your own fault for taking so many classes. That said, my senior year wasn't bad. I took AP Physics, AP Psychology, AP English, Advanced Newspaper Journalism (i.e. class corresponding to school newspaper), and a sequence of three math courses (Linear Algebra/Differential Multivariable Calculus, then Multivariable Integral Calculus, then Differential Equations). Overall, it wasn't too much work, but, then again, math and AP Physics were my only real classes :P.

This is the reason why I love my high school: 8 different classes split between 2 semesters. And to top it all off, senior year is only 6 courses :D

Well, this is my planned schedule for senior year (seeing as I'm a junior right now):

Band (most likely going for Honors).

AP Calculus BC.

AP Physics C (or AP Chemistry; I must decide).

AP English Literature.

AP Government / Whatever-level Economics.

AP Statistics.

And a gleaming exception from everything else:

One semester of Pre-AP World Geography, since in my old school, I was only taught one semester of it (the other semester was a different course, but that won't fly at my current school).

...And one semester of P.E.

That part of my senior schedule, at the least, should be pretty easy.

WeAreToast

You should be fine. AP Statitics is a joke (I am taking the equivalent of it at college, as I never got around to it in high school (too busy with advanced math courses :P), AP English is a joke, P.E. speaks for itself, and AP Econ is easy. AP Calculus BC is difficult (at least, at my school, but the advantage was it made the AP exam a complete joke :P), and AP Physics C can be difficult. Overall, though, you should be fine.

Well I'm a junior and I'm taking AP Calc AB, AP Chem, and AP Stat along with honors French 4, honors us history, and honors english. Not much work for junior year here, but next year I plan on taking 3-4 APs so I might get more work. P.S. Are your 5-page lab reports for AP Chem? I haven't gotten many formal lab reports from AP chem this year...

I only took 3 classes my senior year. Choir, Economics, and Bible. Well I also had to take English at the community college but that was only one semester.

I had easy classes my senior year but work and school collided often so I couldn't always get some of my work done.

i thought mine was easy. i had English 4, pe, math 4, computer repair, home repair, art jewery. computer repair was easy because my teacher tought it first time not knowing what to teach. he also teaches woodshop which is his main class. jewery was also easy because the teacher was around; kind of like a paced class where everyone is on thier own things.

Right now I am in BioChem for the first half of the year and then on the second half of the year i am in AP Chem but my biochem teacher and Ap Chem teacher are going to be the same person. So at the moment i have five page formal lab reports in biochem but i will have them in AP Chem as well

My senior year was a blast, I got all of my serious credit done in my Junior year and took mostly electives during my Senior.  I was being recruited for major college football at the time, academics didn't matter....

My, how things changed :D

I'd give it a 7/10. My schedule was definitely not as hard as yours though.

I had the easiest Senior year. I didn't have to go in until 10am, I left at 2:15pm, and I had only 2 cIasses that required thought, of which I put little into them. Half of my day was a cooking cIass :P

I had to drop a quarter of my classes because of timetable conflicts. What did i do to deserve this? :(
