Seriously What Makes The OT So Addicting?

I mean, i got on here last night around 12, just doing random messages, and next thing i know its 4 AM. Thats 3 hours after i usually go to bed. Damn you OT for messing up my sleep schedule! But what brings and keepsyou here?

GameSpot puts drugs in their code. Once you take one look you can't ever go back.

But seriously, I can barely keep myself entertained here for like... more than 30 minutes at a time. I usually close the window and come back 10-15 minutes later or something (the constant closing and opening of windows is both a waste of time and gives me a false hope of new content).

It's not, I can stop whenever I want.

IT's the religion threads! Everyone trying to get their point across but it's being unheard by the other side so they continue to try.

It's not addicting, but most of my friends sleep until like 2, so I have nothing better to do until they want to do something.

It's not so much addicting for me. It's more like I come here when I'm bored and just listening to music, which happens a lot. Though, lately, I've been playing some new games I picked up instead.

Also, making BanCakes think he's being stalked by reading his OT posts and then sending him weird PMs is fun, too.

That's scary. Me too. Glad I'm not alone in that craziness though. In general some of the topics are fun/interesting to participate in and read. Others remind me why I'm hermit and why I like being a hermit.

I find the topics and RC to be interesting and a good time waster. I find all of the forums to be a good time waster actually. Not saying I spend my life here, but when I'm not at work or doing anything with friends I like to spend my time here. It's nice to get a conversation going or read about interesting topics.

Am I the only person who doesn't consider addicting to be a real word?

I'd say its because feedback here tends to happen very quickly because of the high volume of people+the enthusiastic lot. Barring the religion threads, thiere really isn't much in here that wouild deter a normal human being. Its a very laid back, open place as far as i'm concerned and methinks people like that.
