his type of humor is pretty easy to come up with. I wouldnt call him a genius nor would I call him anything special.

[/QUOTE Well i like Michael Moore too8 so??I like FG and American Dad. I regularly laugh quite alot at them but I don't know if i would call him a genius or anything. Nice guy though. Fairly self depreciating humour alot of the time. Example: The 100th episode special.
No way is he a genius. I'd say to qualify to be a genius you have to be like ... the people in my sig for example. :)-Sluggo-
Ozzy? I think he is musically talented, but far from a genius.
But he's the prince of darkness!
A genius? Tucker Max is a genius. [/QUOTE Tucker what ??? name one of his works please BTW it is available in Fox TV 8)delol
He doesn't do anything for television. I think he might have done a documentary on MTV once, but he is a writer.
Go to his website and read the funny.
is this the guy who was responsible for spawn...if not inlighten me pleasedarkspineslayerSeth MacFarlane is the guy who created Family Guy and American Dad. Stan Lee is the wise one behind spawn, and all of those other classic comics :P As for the actual topic, Seth is smart, but he isn't anything special. Sometimes his work can be witty, but most of the time it's just interchangable jokes, one after another : /

And just because The Simpsons isn't as good as it was doesn't mean it's all rubbish. The newest episodes of The Simpsons are still better than Family Guy in my opinion.

Ozzy? I think he is musically talented, but far from a genius.
Ozzy created an entirely new genre of music. Seth MacFarlane has created two shows that rip off The Simpsons at every turn, and aren't even funny.

Ithink you are intelligent enough to realize that i am not speaking about the skin colour .If you are then what i must say to you is that cartoons evolve as movies or video-games and in this post bush era the causticity of Family guy seems to me much more realistic than the excellent optimism of the Simpson familyI think you are intelligent enough to realize that i am not speaking about the skin colour .If you are then what i must say to you is that cartoons evolve as movies or video-games and in this post bush era the causticity of Family guy seems to me much more realistic than the excellent optimism of the Simpson familydelol
Since when were cartoons about realism. Family Guy certainly isn't realistic. And even while The Simpsons had elements of real life it was never wholly realistic either.

Family Guy is more realistic than The Simpsons? What are you talking about? Family Guy is just plain goofy. Talking dog. Talking baby that is trying to kill it's mother. Son that is the dumbest person on the planet. It's all silly.
The Simpsons are actually three dimensional characters with arcs and realistic family dynamics.

I know what you are saying -- but it's a comedy, the only requirement is that it makes you laugh, deep, developed characters aren't always necessary, especially for a comedy like Fanily Guy.
And Family Guy is nothing like The Simpsons, ok, it follows the dysfunctional family archetype, but that is about as far as the similarity stretches.

it dosent take much to go against the establishment. lots of people do it. and if you're gonna go against it, at least dont LIE to everyone.
