Shaka Zulu vs William Wallace DEADLIEST WARRIOR

SPOILERS!!!!!!! BOOOOO!!!!!! I dont know why but I really wanted Shaka to win! Unfortunately he lost :( I think I wanted him to win because hewas the underdog and the William Wallace guys were really cocky which I hated.Shaka Zulugave me like an adrenaline rush to watch but at the end of the day like the Shaka rep. said Shaka Zulu had a spirit about him which could not beput into a computer. What are your thoughts on tonights deadliest Warrior?

Im starting to like this show less and less. They dont take enough things into account in my opinion. One thing is that, Shaka Zulu was already accustomed to fighting the white man, while William Wallace probably had not seen a Black person in hisentire life. That probably would have some sort of phycological effect I think.

The show and its computer simulations lean too heavily on technology and little on training and the warrior culture of each side.

I have never really liked it, all they take into account is the weapons they used, not training, environment, culture,etc. its a cool show that shows people properly useing cool weapons but other than that I don't like it, i do not use it as a realistic representation of what really would happen if the said warriors fought

yeah and supposedly William Wallace won at a 2:1 ration so it wasnt even close!

William Wallace had a 4'5 foot claymore and Shaka Zulu had a spear and some berry spit. I was expecting the scotsman to lose for PCs sake because the Viking and Gladiator had lost to their Asiatic counterpartsSchnauzerz

Yeah thats what I figured. But still the computer doesnt take into account the fighting spirit/nature, and skills (except for maybe the shaolin monk episode)

^ That's why he lost. Honestly, I was shocked at the final verdict. And that Wallace actually hit Shaka. He would easily run circles around him and his claymore. I also thought the killing blow was cheap. I really don't think that Shaka would be dumb enough to jump on Wallace's claymore, and use his poison mist at the wrong time. It never really gave the training the look it deserved, as the Zulu would wipe the floor if training methods were looked at.

All in all, I agree with the verdict that it is a weapon based show.

^ I'm not sure what other episodes to watch, as this was my first.
