I don't really like peircings but as long as it doesn't hurt her image then if i were you i wouldn't be upset.hoolaIt might hurt her image, I'm not sure.
I love belly piercings on girls, but I would be pretty upset if my mom got one. I don't know why, it just doesn't seem right.....DarkPrinceXCthis is how I feel.
[QUOTE="Sajedene"][QUOTE="gbpman630"]Why is he lucky? It would suck if your mom was a knockout.markop2003
Why? So you'd rather have a fat mom who let herself go because her excuse is "I had kids"? Thats sad.
think of it this way: what if one of your girlfriends around your age thought your dad was sexy?
Fine with me. I find older men sexy too. And if my dad was hot then thats awesome. It is going to be awesome when you are hanging out with your friends and she walks in with her mid-drift showing and a sparkly piece of jewelry hanging from her navel.MafireeI doubt that would happen.
I'm pretty sure no one will see the piercing.GTA_Fan360
Then whats the point in getting a piercing? :|
You guys are being really close minded. If she wants to express herself thats her thing. You guys saying that she is immature or going through a mid life crisis are just showing your bias. I don't see how having a mom get a pearcing is a bad thing. If you don't like it whatever. I still don't see how this is terrible for you.
My parents both ditched out on me but if I had a mom I would want her to feel confident and feel free to express her beauty as well as her sexuality. I would prefer that she hides that last part in front of me but I would want her to be comfortable with herself instead of pressuring her to "cover up" Hell in a way I'd be proud of her
Just be thankfull she wasn't getting "it" pierced. I would not want to know about that but good for her I guess. I understand how you may not like peircings but I don't understand why you would judge and condemn people for being individuals and expressing themselves let alone your own mom.
Plus I don't see why pericings are "trashy" If a person is trashy the bellly peircing is going to be the last thing you notice. Action s make someone trashy not appearence. This is exactly the kind of sexist and ageist mentality that is giving men and women double standards and sending mixed messages
People get different pericings for different reasons. A punk rock peircing is not the same as a conventional one and a tatoo does not automaticilly equal "tramp stamp" If the pearcing is done tastefully and she dresses well it will look fine.
This thread reeks of sexual ignorence as well as undertones of mysgony. Plus gamespot is laggy as all get out lately thats your fault too.
[QUOTE="Sajedene"]Yea, it really is, but I guess it's just part of a being a male. We think about sex every minute of the day, and we're so used to judging the looks of women we see. No,that's ignorance and disrespect. That has nothing to do with being a male.Okay thats just perverted.

I don't recall where being male meant having an oedipus complex. I know you were joking but I am sick of the sterotype that men are sexed crazed maniacs. Both sexes can posses a high libedo its just certan societal expectations influence our behaivor.

she's in her 40's, she doesn't wear shirts that shows her belly button though. Most of her shirts end at her pants line.haha too funny. my wife took hers out a couple weeks ago because she felt she was too old for belly piercing. i'm going to assume your mom is over 27.

My mum got her belly button pierced in her 40s too and some of her friends who are in their 40s have their's pierced as well.
does your mom show off the piercing a lot?Not really, almost none of the time. Her friends however love to parade and show it everywhere.

So far she only wore one shirt that ended right above her bellybutton. hopefully she doesn't wear it again. When she's changing (not that I'm in her room, I just know) and when she's at the beach. What about yours?

Go Cougars! Go!
I don't get it."Cougar" is a slang term used in some places when referring to attractive, older women. I assume your mother is attractive if she got a belly piercing and wants to show it off. In an case, I was just having a laugh.Â
I can see something a bit juvenile and immature about a grown woman getting a peircing, but that's just because I think a 40 year old should already have this sort of stuff sorted out.
Personally I've never seen anything attractive about piercings, but that's just because all the girls I've seen with them are overweight, inappropriately dressed (due to their weight) and generally trashy tramps.
If she's none of the above then good on her, I suppose.
So...? I don't get it.swizz-the-gamer
What don't you get? The "cougar" thing?
It's obvious his mother wants attention.
Here. Maybe this will help: Cougars
Definition number three may apply. That's kind of what I was thinking when I posted.
