Is it like on movies, do you wear shoes inside in USA/England? Because in sweden, were I live we only wear socks inside.
So is it like on the movies or have I been tricked or is it like that?

And one more question. On movies they always hang up the phone without saying goodbye to the person they are talking to, thats just rude, is it like that to :(?

I was raised to ALWAYS take off my shoes in the house. Not sure why anyone would wear shoes in the house anyway though.

If the floor is clearly dirty, I'm not going to take my shoes off. It's not like the floor will get any dirtier. In my own home, the floor's always clean, and there are multiple signs saying to take your shoes off.

What are the exceptions? Like you forget the keys inside then runs inside to get them and you don't have time to take of your shoes? Or do you just feel like wearing them?

Nah. As far as I know, most people don't wear shoes inside. At least in Michigan.

No. The floor is the floor. Its not like we eat off it or something. We don't take our shoes off unless we want to for comfort.

I almost never wear my shoes inside. They come off at the door and I usually just walk around the house with socks or just barefoot.

Nope we don't although my mom would prefer it. That's what carpet cleaning and hardwood floors are for. And only time we dont say goodbye to a person over the phone is if we hang up on them. So yeah.

In my parents house there was always a wooden sign hanging on our wall (Not sure where it's from) that read: "this is an american house run japanese style please take off your shoes and stay a while". So I'm used to never wearing my shoes in the house.

Yeah, that and I have some indoor shoes I wear for exercising and so forth.

I wear sandals when I'm inside, and when I don't get my feet on the ground I go barefoot.

Using shoes inside is actually unconfortable.

Most people dont wear shoes inside if so it is either slippers or sandals. I just walk around barefoot in my house though.

Yes most people say bye or some form of it like talk to you later, cu later peace etc... when the conversation ends

I always take my shoes off, unless I'm instructed otherwise. I find it to be dirty, wearing shoes in people's houses.

I only wear shoes indoors if I'm not going to be in there long enough to warrant taking them off. All other times, I like to take them off.
