I recall reading the book "Never Cry Wolf," and the author didn't seem to approve of it. Granted, there are alot of people who find "Never Cry Wolf" to be very questionable, with some wildlife experts deriding the work. But anyway, I have nothing against hunting, but... Shooting from helicopters? I dunno, but it just sounds kind of cheap to me.
[QUOTE="PannicAtack"]I recall reading the book "Never Cry Wolf," and the author didn't seem to approve of it. Granted, there are alot of people who find "Never Cry Wolf" to be very questionable, with some wildlife experts deriding the work. But anyway, I have nothing against hunting, but... Shooting from helicopters? I dunno, but it just sounds kind of cheap to me. Shooting from helicopters/aircraft is done in Alaska and it is done because of the remoteness where wolves are. Those places are great areas to drop off hunters to fill their tags but if the wolves have killed everything off it makes the taking of a game animal hard. The wolf is not near extinction either, as a matter of fact they are being delisted here in the lower 48.
the things humans do for entertainment... and we think were the most advanced species on the planet.

I know right? I don't see how this could even be remotely fun. I mean, they just line up a shot and pull the trigger. Sounds pretty boring. Now, if they started dropping grenades out of those helicopters into packs of wolves, or used flame throwers while buzzing over them, then that would be friggin' cool!
