[QUOTE="blackngold29"][QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]Yeah, positively.[QUOTE="blackngold29"][QUOTE="filiwian"]They should because the situation continues to get worse and it's also affecting America's economy. The war does nothing but leave a trail of death and sadness. sSubZerOo
:| No the war is not helping our economy positively.. I don't know if you realize this but we are borrowing money from other countries to sustain this war.. The US hasn't done this for hundreds of years.. To make matters worse contractors like Haliburton and KGBR are ripping the United States government off for absurd amounts of money.
Yes, but Haliburton is owned by the dude who's helping make the decisions. I think some things have gotten better, other worse. War is always good for the economy somehow. As I say again.. No it isn't.. This isn't like WW2 where it revitalized our industries in creating jobs.. Where the aftermath had basically only the United States standing their economic infastructure fully intact.. These contractors are basically ripping and funneling money out of the government and giving them huge debt.. Who do you think will be paying for that debt? The Citizens.
Exactly. The Iraq war is economically crippling for American citizens because the obscene profits are made by the weapons manfacturers and defence contractors etc. and with no substantial system for the re-distribution of wealth the average American citizen will not benefit from these ill-gotten yet crucia financial resources.
