Recently purchased a Kindle Fire HD.

I noticed you can purchase comics on them. Should this be my go to place for comics now or should I continue with physical copies? I'm not a massive comic book guy and have only been reading them since the start of The New 52

If it were me, most of the fun would come from physically collecting them.

Depends on if having space for physical copies is an issue. As do you see yourself moving in the next few years? Something to consider.

Try a short digital comic to see if you like it. I've seen the Kindle store sell as low as 99 cents. I have physical and digital copies. I read more casually and I take my kindle to work so it's kind of cool to read a comic while on lunch break.

Yeah but then you trade spandex for 13 year old girls with enormous eyes. :P

As long as they wear thigh highs, I'm perfectly okay with this.

I prefer holding a physical copy in my hand. This goes for books and comic books. The only problem is they can pile up very fast and take up alot of space and then what do you do with them? Books you can donate to libraries and stuff. You can do that with most grapgic novels and tpb's too, but IDK about individual comics so that is something. If you only care about the story and aren't one of those people who likes to make their weekly visit to the local comic shop I would say go for it. Just do a test run too see if the size difference is an issue.

Physical paper is way better quality and resolution than on a Kindle.

if you want convienence then the digital is better you can take all of your books everywhere. If you rather collect the real thing then get the real copy!

I am really in a pickle here. Actual comics are bigger too, yet I find myself leaning towards the digital copies

Decisions decision

I would buy a few digital versions first and see if you prefer reading a comic in that format.

Depends on what you want. Personally, I've grown to like the convenience of ebooks, and will take them over physical books any day. But there are other factors than convenience, so it just depends on how highly you value those different factors.
