Should i quit my Job???

Well i work at a red lobster either washing dishs or assorting food on plates and i hate it. The only reason i keep the job is because i almost have a girlfriend. I need money to have a girlfriend but i always work everyday on the weekends!! So then i dont have time for my friends or my almost girlfriend. And not to mention its making me dead tired like all the time. Which affects my grades and im normally an honor role student. Not to mention im starting up this Mentorship program at the hospital (its like an internship) and i need to do that because it looks good on a college resume.

Is it worth keeping?

I say keep the job and your eyes peeled to get a different position in the company (maybe line cook) or keep the job and look for something better. I know I started as a dishwasher and hated it, talked to my boss and i moved up to the line and now i love it.

see if you can also work out a schedule take off a saturday or friday every weekend or something.

call in sick on a saturday or friday if they cant give u the day off, you can only do this a few times but they cant fire you for it, just aslong as u give plenty of notice.

Do what you love to do and find a way to make money from it. You don't need to be a dish monkey your whole life.Boba_Fett_3710
