They are just two different tests. You can take both, and should take both. Some schools only accept the SAT scores.. few only accept ACT scores, and some take both.
I prefer the SAT since you don't need to have any actual knowledge. You just need the basic skills that you've been taught your entire life. I haven't taken the ACT though so I couldn't tell you how much knowledge you really need to do well.User10293
I thought, overall, the ACT was easier. The ACT was pretty easy until the science part. For some reason the science section kicked my ass, hard. That section was out of place.. it was a LOT harder than the rest of the sections on the test.
Or maybe I just suck at science.

I completely agreed...I studied for the dang thing and thought it was easy and I was pretty confident going into the science part...and then it killed me!

I completely agreed...I studied for the dang thing and thought it was easy and I was pretty confident going into the science part...and then it killed me!
I didn't have too much trouble with the science section. It was mainly information on graphs, diagrams, charts while answering questions corresponding to them. It didn't seem like I needed to know much background information to it.Please Log In to post.
