Herpes can still be spread despite the use of certain protection. Depends where the lesions are. And this girl has had at least 3 sexual partners, it may not necessarily be that guy.

umm no. he didnt force her...she was an adult who was aware of protection and you have no business telling her mother or other family members. its her health issue. All you can do is support her and help her get treatment. You need to get tested as well.
Exactly. ^
Don't act like your friend is just an innocent victim, if she had consentual UNPROTECTED sex, she's at fault, too.
what about those cases where if someone knows they have hiv/aids and has intercourse with someone spreading it, it's a felony.
only if they willingly are trying to spread it and dont tell the other peopleYou can't press charges because of an STD unless its something like AIDS and you can prove malice, and even then... She chose to have unprotected sex, she will have to live with the consequences. If her mother is the calm type who won't get mad, then yeah someone should tell her. People need to support her.
I wouldn't be friends with her. Why be friends with a girl that can give you herpes?wstfldYou do realize that if you do not have sex you won't catch herpes from her? To be safe also don't share straws or things like silverware but that is not exactly a major risk. I had a best friend for awhile with herpes for years and I never got it... than again she was a lesbian and we never had any sexual contact =)
Herpes for the most part isn't that bad. It's more of something thats ****ing annoying than something you have to worry about. I don't think she can press charges, but goto a lawyer. Also is she 100% sure she has herpes? One of my best friends thought she had herpes because she had a little break out of bumps and the doctor confirmed it and prescribed her medicine, but after that break out she never had one again and she's been to many doctors and they all are telling her that the first doctor made a mistake and she never had herpes. It's been 2 years since and she hasn't had a break out nor has she taken any medication. It could just be a coincidence so have her check that out.
Also I'm from NYC to bro ncie to meet fellow new yorkers. Good luck.
What am I suppose to do from sitting here? I would of thought she would pay to get the STD cured and you will go about your life instead of thinking your captain hero and go beat up whoever you think is responsible because you want to win favor in order be next in line to ride the bicycle.

Let me ask you soemthing... Was that necessary? do you feel better now that you basically called the girl he likes a whore? I can't stand people like you.
She was a consenting adult that had unprotected sex with some dude.
No pressing charges. Sad situation, but it doesn't sound like the guy forced himself onto her. She screwed up and now has to live with it.

If you're friends with a slut you are bound to bone them at some point. Wait, what?
