Marriage has very little to do with religion. It has more to do with connections of socio/economic status in the community. So it should be controlled by the state, but only if they don't allow elements of religion into it. Which they are.EMOEVOLUTION

If I couldn't get married then I'd never have kids... and I want kids. I'm getting married and could care less if it's state approved. It's God ordaining the marriage that I care about.

no it dosn't, signing a document has none, as far as the state is concerned it has none, it only has religous implications if you have it done by a church which sees it that way
