Yep, sure they'll win a few people over, but overall silly commercials won't bring down the King of OS

That is true when you think about it. Controling since it came out with Software and I have been using it since 95, can't wait to get my hands on Vista.

Microsoft and Apple have continually stolen ideas from each other over the years. This is nothing new.

Yes but MS stole Apples originally. They took Apples GUI software (which was based on a GUI from Xerox), modified it, and turned it into Windows. Catch up on your reading, or watch "Pirates of Silicon Valley".

Does it really matter now? How long ago was that? If they aren't smart enough to keep thier ideas from being stolen then it's thier own fault

Apple computers are far more expensive than PC's and so is there software. Also, there aren't as much programs for Macs. When Stevie Jobs was confronted about Apple's prices he said smugly that Apple isn't a OGN :|

I thought Xerox let both Apple and MS use the GUI software. Or something like that. Either way, Apple tried to sue MS for it but there was no case due to circumstances like that.

Wow, thats how to say it! 100% TRUE! It's really pathetic all these ads IMO. They are so annoying though, they are everywhere - MySpace, TV, Billboards, I even went to the movies last night and TWO of them came on! FTW!

I think the Mac ads kinda make fun of Macs in a small way. Like the Christmas commercial. Mac's present was crap, and took no effort. "Apple: accomplish less, faster!"

But...... If MS attacked Apple with a biological agent... that would be funny.

well its only a commercial im a apple user but i'm sure microsoft wants to shell out millions on other stuff which is a better idea
