You sir, are very wrong in your opinion of rap music. True, most of it is like that, but if you listen to the stuff that's not on the radio, then you will get better rap music.

I'm not even gonna discuss the generalizations here. But it's strange that you mention rap. What about Satan-worship Metal music or Emo Suicide-themed music? If you're gonna ban something, shouldn't you start with the worst things first?
Yes it should be banned. Why? Because I can't stand anything remotely "gangsta". Gangster's use to have a cool image, now it's all these street kids who wear their pants around their ankles, talking like babies with Tourette's syndrome.

If I was a father, though, I really wouldn't want my kid to be listening to Black Moon. Though they're awesome, they just use the "N" word too much and I wouldn't want my kid saying that.

Listen to early rap, what you said is just BS. A lot of rap songs are negative, yeah, but not all of it.
As a metal fan, I honestly can't find any rap or hip-hop music that I can enjoy. It's just not my genre. But as much as I don't seem to like it, I don't think it should be banned, as that would be unconstitutional, and above all, flat out stupid.

Listen to early rap, what you said is just BS. A lot of rap songs are negative, yeah, but not all of it.
Look at the next post I made. I was being sarcastic. I'm a huge fan of hip-hop/rap music and old school hip-hop is one of my personal favorite aspects of the genre.
Not all rap music talks about sex, drugs and money. However i vote that kids can listen to what they choose, as long as parents makes the kids understand their potential in life and making the right decisions. I know people who listen to gangster rap, but dont really act upon it.
