Should watching movies get trophies or achievements?

I don't really see the big deal. Say you want to watch all of the imdb top 250 movies (or another well-known list)....that site gives you an easy checklist so you can keep track. It also gives you recommendations based on what you've watched and favorited and really feels like a Last.FM for movies. I used to use it but haven't gone there in a while.

The people in this thread saying things like "this is a new low, god OP this is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life!!!" are overreacting so hard.
