I'm going to explain to you people an old argument for spelling reform. Ghoti. How do you pronounce that? You pronounce it as "Fish" "gh" is in rough "o" as in "women" (not the way Americans say "women" but the way brits do, so it sounds more like "wimmen" "ti" as in "nation"

It doesn't all have to happen at once. Fact is, our language doesn't make sense! We could first just take out the 'gh' in words, changing Night --> Nite, Light --> Lite, and ect, ect.
Some products do use the spelling "lite" for instance LiteBrite. Also I see many signs that say drive thru rather than drive through.
Ya mon, Jamaican English is wicked mon. American English is so rotid, it just doesn't jive with I and I. Americans speak English like a bunch of bumbaclots.

I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it how weird (page 1 and page 2 are all from 2007 and page 3 is all 2012). I wonder what happened, did someone remember that thread and decide to go back to it, or did someone stop posting in 2007 and then just return to GS now and check their posting history with this thread being the most recent one in their posting history?
