The draft is only exclusive to men, and this decision is supported by the US supreme Court  who stated that this is not a form of sexism sincedue to combat restrictions on women they would not be "similarly situated" in combat like men.

Whats your opinion?

Heck no...Women groups sue Cities for having too high of restrictions for  becomming firemen or FBI people. They have reduced those. Sorry but women want lesser requirements...By god they sure as heck can go fight also

Why couldnt they be drafted and serve in a non combat role which would free up forces to serve in combat roles?

Both women and men should be able to fight when the time is required for it.

You don't need to be a guy to shoot a gun. Women want equal rights until it's time to get their hands dirty.

yeah since men and women are to be treated equally. women should be drafted, i mean afterall, they're not gonna start saying women are weaker after all those years they fought against that discrimination so now that they won that, its time for them join in.

No..We should be equal now about this. How many times have men been drafted first? We should let them be drafted first...We have to repay the debt now:twisted:  Ladies first^^

There are reasons having nothing to do with equality as to why women are not "drafted", though last time I checked the draft wasn't in effect, so the point is moot.

As long as they have all the same freedom and rights as men, they have just as much a responsibility to protect that.

No, they want to be treated equally. It doesn't matter, because soon they no longer will be excluded from it.

In my opinion, the draft is a horrible idea, and it should be voluntarly. I think some countries do that.

Just like kids, no getting grounded, but no making there own food or buying their own stuff either, too many people want to have the best of all, with rights comes responsibility, if you don't want responsibility, then you don't get rights, that's the way I see it.

i hate the idea of a draft, absolutely HATE it. that being said, i truly believe in EQUAL rights and if there is a draft, women should be included. i wouldn't fight, personally. i'd go to jail first, but that's neither here nor there. i wouldn't want someone to not draft me just because i'm a girl

In spite of feminism, I'd say no.  But naturally, yes.  Most women aren't exactly in fighting shape, and some of them are mothers too.  You can't pull them off too war.

At everything war requires yes, it doesn't require a penis or a hairy chest, so I think they fit in perfectly.

Despite how much people don't like it.  Men and women are NOT equal.  Will never be equal.  And should NEVER be equal.  This is rediculous.

Everyone should be eligible for the draft, with no exceptions... regardless of sex, sexual orientation, religious background, ethnicity, marital status or job/school status. Combat positions should be mandatory for males and optional for females... there are plenty of other jobs available in our armed services for people to fill.

LMAO people think a little!

If we draft all our men and our woman, who is gonna stay behind to keep the country going? You will be leaving ill people, old people, and children to run the country which is idiotic.

Screw feminism, screw equality, yay logic!!!

I cant say for sure because men and woman are different. I do think that can both do the job.

Yeah, naturally it depends on the job, women would be just as good as men in most combat related jobs, but if it were one say, loading shells into an artillery piece, men naturally have more upper body strength for that.

I think there would be a difference because of the chemical make up between the two sexes also.
