Try right clicking then going into properties, and just copy the URL, thats what I do.

well when i use it in KDE for some reason it only works when i run it out of the terminal, when on gnome it works.

I think it has to do with what you said, or the dependancies.

edit: it was what you said, i uninstalled gimpshop and gimp ran perfectly
