Two Broke Girls. That show recently came to the UK and I thought I'd give it a shot and OMG! What the hell! That show is TERRIBLE. Not funny in any way. The two main characters a dull and uninteresting and the supporting cast are all just easy stereotypes of either their race/culture or their position in society. Seriously America, you can take a dump on your own TVs but please don't bring that turd over here Wolls

In my country they announce it as the No.1 comedy on the USA and i'm like really??? this??? really???

The show kind of improves on later episodes, but yeah, is pretty bad.

Yeah I know man, I think they are going to run into an issue like they did with Rome and Deadwood where the production value is going to get insanely pricey and HBO will back out on a re-newel of another season.

Agreed. I guess I should blame my own ignorance on what the show/books were but I know many people, including myself, expected the show to be much different. I expected large battles, cool exploration and monster slaying. They keep dangling all these things in front of us (especially neat monsters and battles) for for it to be a tease and nothing happens. The show builds and builds and then it just......nothing.

HBO I'm tired of it, give me epic battles and dragons and all around medevil badassness with your softcore porn on the side haha.

I'm pretty intuitive at knowing what shows I won't like before I see them. Any show I can't stand watching is a show I haven't actually seen yet. The logic is there, trust me.

I think were watching different shows. It's low brow but not that low brow. There are glimmers of cleverness throughout some episodes. The pedophile thing gets overplayed a bit with their one pedophile character that makes a few appearances sometimes but the incest thing isn't even ringing any bells.

Meg? They hate meg. They constantly insult her, not sure why they would want to sleep with her. There may have been one episode with an incest joke and you saw it but it's not ringing any bells. I just am not remembering said incest joke. That said it is hardly one big incest joke after another.

EDIT: Just googled it and there is an episode where Peter loses his memory, as he reacquaints himself with the pleasures of sex, Lois tells him that it is inappropriate to have sex with his own children; in response, Meg attempts an incest joke. Most of the family lambaste her for this and Chris kicks her out of the room. However, in the season finale "Partial Terms of Endearment", Lois tells a joke that implies that it was Meg that gave birth to Stewie, and apart from a shocked reaction from the latter, Lois receives no such violent reaction.Additionally, in "Model Misbehavior", when Lois starts a modeling career, Peter states that he will pleasure himself to Lois' pictures, followed by Chris and Meg both exclaiming "Me too!" to which Peter shouts "Oh God, Meg, that's sick! That's your mother!", ignoring the fact that Chris said the same thing. Meg responded by saying "I was only trying to fit in!" So we have three episodes that make an incest joke and never is it the father. So unless you saw these three episodes it is hardly one incest joke after another and it is isnt the father making the jokes. You sure you watched this show or did you just invent something to jump on a bandwagon of hate.

I used to like both NCIS and Bones. But this year they are an embarrassment. I cringed the last time I saw either of them.

Anything with Kardassian, Jersey Shore or Housewives of......(fill in blank). Seen bits and shuddered.

It's hit and miss. Funny sometimes but yeah they are pretty much beating a dead horse with it. But I don't write or make the show. Maybe you should tell MacFarlane about it?

For me its without a doubt Total Non Stop Action. The story lines are bizzare, there are good talent there but not used properly, it also feels like WCW 2.0.

Another show I cant stand watching though ( this is an unpopular opinion) How I met your mother. I am simply amazed how low the quality of each episodes have become these days and how much can they milk a show where a guy tells his kids how he met his mother.

Reality TV and anything with a laughtrack, canned laughter is the worst crutch of talentless writers. Being doaded into laughing at unfunny situations flies in the very face of what comdedy is about.

I tend to avoid shows I dislike, it would be easier to list the few shows that I actually do enjoy on tv :lol:

Whatever sitcom George Lopez had/has. Cannot stand that show or that man.

There are alot but one i've forced myself into watching was Family Guy due to it not sucking originallly. Alot of the new south park episodes are unbearably bad aswell

there are shows that other people make me dislike, just by watching them too much (family members + room mates) like criminal minds, friends, Big bang theory
