[QUOTE="sexy-hippo"] He found a smell and "crumbs". I wouldn't exactly call that having drugs. I don't carry much at all when I carry it with me. And every time but twice I kept it in my pocket, and I was in someone elses car. Him saying he could scrape up enough to charge me for I don't agree with. I'm bitter about him saying that. Maybe my glove box does smell faintly like weed, but I know I don't have weed in my mud covered floorboards. My band practices at my friends house, it gets really muddy when it rains.

You are just making excuses now
'I usually carry my papers officer'
'There is not enough drugs here to convict me officer'
...wow man...just wow is all I have to say.
I can't believe you made this thread. Some people really do get harassed. You got very luck,y and you are upset...just Wow
Papers? I had my insurance. In my area, (last I checked) three ounces is enough to be charged for. Explain to me how I could have three ounces of crumbs in a floor board where I never had it? I didn't make this thread because I'm upset. I made it to talka bout a situation I was in. But you don't take it as that. And you keep saying things. Yeah. I do think what he said about the weed is wrong, I know don't have that much in there, I am grateful that I didn't get a ticket for not having my lisence. I think its funny that I got pulled over because the cops assumed I was part of a drug deal that didn't happen. I didn't think I would have to put that in the original message but I guess I'll have to.
My point is that the cops (are supposed to) operate within the law.
-this cop did
-he was suspicious b/c of the location and your activity (for reasons I already went over...loitering laws and the reasons behind them)
-if you had not given him probably cause (crappy driving) he could not have pulled you over
-you lacked your papers (license) and he (or the dog) smelt drugs to which you admitted use ...after all that he let you off with nothing
What is 'funny' is that nothing happened to you
Be glad that:
1. the cops are trying to make the area safer by acting within the laws
2. he let you off
This thread should have been about how lucky you are and what a great job the cop did
-he acted within the law to try and make the area safer (you could have been a dealer...he has no way of knowing)
-then he saw you are/were no danger/threat and let you go
