[QUOTE="Jandurin"] I don't bother with legality. I bother with reality. In reality, it doesn't do much damage to others unless you live with them, so get over yourself. If you want to make a difference, get cars abolished. /hah Jandurin
agree 100%
Too many people make a ruckus simply because they feel entitled to it. I call that the College Student Living Off Campus For The First Time Syndrome. Something irks you, and its a legitimate complaint on the technical level, yet your demands to fix it are just so out of proportion to the actual problem that you come off looking like a tool.
Live in reality, be a good person, and compromise. Things are pretty good now; you cant smoke inside, you can post a sign saying "no smoking" just about anywhere, and lets be frank...smoking is generally so frowned down upon that smokers are careful with where they light up as to bother the least amount of people. I know I am and everyone I smoke with is.

I just saw this show and on it they said that if somebody smokes somewhere and then they leave, most of the harmful chemicals are still there and can still harm people who are there even days after. So if you go into a hotel room where somebody smoked, you breath in all of those chemicals and if your parents smoke, you breath them in all the time cause you can get the chemicals off their clothes, or if they smoke in the house, you basically breath them in all the time. These aren't joke chemicals either, they're the ones that really screw you up. Why are ciggarettes not illegal, yet others things that shouldn't be are?

They should be put in jail. You know if you had those samechemicals in bottles at your home. The police would put you in jail.
I'm in favour of a total ban everywhere including your own homes. Make it illegal. It's the only way to clean healthy lungs for everyone.
Well then lets ban:
Cars, for creating smog. Its (the other) only way to clean your lungs
Fast food, for clogging arteries. Its the only way to clean your arteries
TVs, for damaging your eyesight. Its the only way to preserve your vision
...lets see what else
I would rather live in a fun, free society for 90 years than a dull, bland, sissy society for 95
