Possible, yes. Likely, no. Neither are snake eaters, but strictly speaking size, mine is about twice the size of her's and mine also grows to about twices the size of her's. Her's grows to 3-5 feet and mine will grow 6-9 feet.

I don't currently, but in the past I used to keep snakes fairly regularly usually fairly common easy to catch breeds like King Snakes, Gopher Snakes, Garter Snakes, & the occasional Southern Pacific Rattlesnake. I had a Burmese Python for a number of years, but I eventually gave him to a friend when I moved as I never really warmed up to him as in my experience snakes raised in captivity tend to be less friendly and childishly finicky...loved the way he snored though.

I own two snakes, a California kingsnake and a corn snake. The corn snake I just got a little over a month ago, hes been really shy the first two weeks, now hes always watching and explores around his enclosure. The Kingsnake Ive had over 16 years, since I was a freshmen in high school. He is very tame, very use to being handled, to my motions and such. The kingsnake will very often stay on my lap without requiring much handling and sometimes will sleep on my lap while Im watching a movie or playing game.

My dad had a red tail boa when I was young. Taking care of it looked to be a major pain in the ass, so I never was interested in having a snake of my own. Plus they're not very affectionate like cats or dogs are.

I have a size limit. I have no interest in owning any snake that can grow to over ten feet long. Big snakes require big food items like rabbits or chickens as well as require a lot of space. I haven't owned a snake in over ten years, but plan on getting back into breeding them. I plan on focusing on Asian rat snakes and tree Boas.

The only time I would consider having a snake as a pet was when my Dad had a Scarlet Kingsnake, due to one of our dogs being killed by a Water Moccasin. It did a pretty good job of keeping the other snakes away and I've been thinking of getting one myself.

well it literally lives underneath your trousers, it becomes larger when stimulated as well. Perhaps to show that it is ready to mate.

well me and my girl went out snake hunting the other day to catch a snake for each of our kids and ended up catching 24. Released 22 of them in my backyard. I wanted to catch them a snake instead of buying them one to see if they will take care of them. if they don't, then I will just release them and never buy them a snake. if they show they can care for them, then I will buy them each a snake and release the ones I caught for them. I can't see buying them snakes without knowing if they will care for them or not first.

I would consider having a pet snake if I didn't live at home and also the fact that I wouldn't want it to bite me or something.

The fear of being bitten by a snake is a lot worse than the actual bite (unless of course it is a venomous snake bite).

Oh in that case I get it. You have no clue what you are talking about when it comes to snakes, but felt the need to comment anyways. Sorry but outside of owning a tarantula, you aren't going to find a more hassle free pet than a snake. I own two cats and 20 snakes would be easier to care for than just 1 cat or dog.

Yes your opinion on something you clearly know nothing about. I am not acting high and mighty. Just not understanding why somebody would feel the need to comment on something that they are completely clueless about. Especially if they "don't care".

When you as if they bite, do you mean are they aggressive? All snakes can bite. Corn snakes are a pretty docile snake. They make great snakes for beginners because of how easy they are to care for and because of how docile they are.
