I don't think anything will happen.

-.- It seems you've missed my point entirely. I don't live my life in fear. The point is Al Qaeda will attack the US and other western countries. Its just their nature and you cannot change that. I never said Al Qaeda are a great big army with the power to invade and take over the USA or any other country but they DO POSE A VALID THREAT. That is my point, they are still active and they still pose a threat, it doesn't mean that a bombing is imminent but it could happen. Regardless of this, I don't live my life hiding from terrorists or bombs, this isn't WW3.[QUOTE="DeX2010"][QUOTE="Firebird-5"]
I could replace America with Britain and what I said would be equally as valid for you. It's fine if you want to live your life in fear of a few angry men in caves who care about problems more at home then they do overseas. Al Qaeda has never had and never will have the power western governments have hyped them up to have. International terrorists are the new communists. I don't have direct knowledge of Al Qaeda's affairs... but this is always an argument people use when they know they aren't on solid ground. bin Laden is dead. al-Rahman Atiyyat Allah, the newest 2IC is also dead. He's the one who brought a pragmatic streak to Al Qaeda's operations (which have been extremely limited... there isn't a global terrorist network out to steal your freedoms, rights, and ice cream), and Zawahiri is too busy running and hiding from US drones to be planning anything substantial.

they don't pose a valid threat. unless you mean 'threat' in the kind of way a rolling pin can also be used as a weapon. this is what i have been telling you. have you read anything on al qaeda, or are you just covering your ass now (i find this common with people who use things like '-.-', generally they are 13 year olds)
How many thing can you assume about a person? '-.-' is an emote just the same as :) or :P are. Al Qaeda's threat is declining as the CIA's Drone Strikes in Afganistan combined with the death of OBL have hindered them. AQ also have several splinter groups that are causing havoc around the world. Please look at the news in Pakistan lately and tell me Al Qaeda isn't active. However minimal they still pose a threat. And if you don't have the sense to see that, then frankly I don't care. How many thing can you assume about a person? '-.-' is an emote just the same as :) or :P are. you don't even know which groups you are talking about. there are fewer than 100 individuals linked to Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, their franchises are not 'causing havoc around the world' (did the TV tell you that?), and are, as i've been saying, more interested in problems at home (i.e. Algeria for AQIM). half of the groups in Pakistani FATA don't care about Al Qaeda's goals - Lakshir-e-Taiba, the Haqqani network, etc. Al Qaeda poses no transnational threat to the US, it's just not happening. Between targeted killings of their leaders, suppression by drones, and the way US-Pakistani relations operate, Al Qaeda has neither the time nor the inclination to carry out attacks on the US, barring those of opportunity. If you still consider, after all this, Al Qaeda to be a 'threat', then you have no sense. the group is facing an existential crisis for christ sakes.
all you seem to know is what is reported in the evening news. you don't know names of regions, terrorist groups other than al qaeda, their importance and relevance, or even names of prominent members of the al qaeda leadership. stop watching the TV and do something else

We haven't had another major attack since Sept 11. That makes us pretty safe.

I'd prefer the ability to keep argonian tails. Good tool for role playing a dark elf.[QUOTE="fidosim"][QUOTE="cybrcatter"]Exactly 2 months from the release of Skyrim. Can't wait. cybrcatter
