Um... Yah. I was at the pet store in the mall this afternoon, because my family were in other stores, and we were going to meet up at Toys R Us or something after a while, so I decided to stop at the pet store just to look at the parrots and stuff... So I bent down to look at two ferrets in a cage in the pet store, and what do you know, someone behind me gave my behind a smack. Then I heard giggling. I turned around and I see one of those groups of bad girls, you know, those mean ones that swear and make fun of people and take up the hallways at school... And I really didn't know what to say. I didn't want to be a jerk by saying something mean, and I also didn't want to be a loser and say something stupid by trying to say something funny. So then I walk away and go look at the fishes, and surprise surprise, she smacks it again! :P I actually thought what she did was sort of funny, but I didn't know what to say... I'm very bad at thinking of what to say in front of people, because I don't have enough time to think of a clever comeback. Because if I said one thing stupid, I'd just make those girls laugh at me. Then one of the girls said her friend wanted my number... I would've given it to her just to be cool and all, but I just didn't know what to say... I'm not good at talking to random kids my age face to face... I'm 14 by the way. Does anyone know what I should do if something like thiss happens again?? :P

Dude the best thing to do in those situations is go with your instincts man.... dont think just say the first thing you can think of but dont even think about thinking about the first thing you thought of just say it....ahhhhhhhh your anyway your only 14 now it will come to you..........

You know, I was considering that, to be funny... But should i have just walked up to her and smacked her back without saying anything? Oh ya, and there was a guy in their group, so that could have been dangerous... And he was pretty big... didnt wana mess with that :P

Yup. From my experience, I'm 90% sure that was what happened and they were just screwing with you... but who knows, maybe she likes you, but not to sound mean or anything, I don't see why she would (since it doesn't appear that you know eachother well).

Well she also asked "are you spanish, or italian, etc..." probably because thats what she likes lol
You should ask her to smack your bare ass next time and then bend over, drop your pants, and smile weirdly at her. It's funny and awkward at the same time and you could go from there.

that was happening to me when i was 13, i just ignored it, in the end they just give up. They want a reaction, like you thinking they're intressted or somthing just so they can reject you....
Actually try that, ask them out straight after.... i'm curious about what they'ld do...
