I love the books, the films were always abit dissapointing in comparison but I still liked watching them. I just hope the final film being split into 2 means they follow the book properly!

Yes. I'm a huge fan of both the books and the movies.

I used to be a huge fan when I was younger but only read the first 4 books and then stopped and I lost interest. But I like the films, they are a whole lot of fun and after watching all 6 of the films in the last 2 weeks my interest has grown and I'm thinking of rereading the books and reading the 3 I never read.

I'm reaching the end of the fourth book and I've seen the first five movies so far. I'm not seeing the sixth movie until I read the book.

Good idea. You'll appreciate the book more that way. Currently I'm re-reading the seventh book after seeing the sixth movie last week.

I am not a complete fan. Years back I read the first two books, but then Terry Prachett became the main author I read. As for the movies I have to say I enjoyed all of them so far. They are all good movies with decent to fantastic acting. The direction in all is top notch, so are the effects. I love the change of mood from the early movies to the new ones. The best thing about the movies is that you get to see the characters grow up.

Just started into the series this year. I've seen all the movies and only need to finish book 7 which I'm currently reading.

I'm a fan of the books, but my appreciation for the movies has been declining. They seem to get worse each time. I still have yet to see the most recent one, but I haven't really had any urge to go see it.

i'm obsessed with the books AND the movies, more into the books though. i was just watching order of the phoenix like half an hour ago :)

I love mine :) It was a great Halloween costume this past year! I've also worn it to get my nerd on a couple of times... I took it when I visited the film locations in Oxford for pics, I wore it to the HBP premiere, and I wore it to the wizard rock/Pottercast live thing I went to in June. :PSkylinePigeon

I would say that I am. I have read all the books and seen the movies so far, but I am not into the games that much.

I've been reading the books since 5th grade and it's still my favorite book series. I love all the movies too. Favorite book: Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix. Favorite movie: Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-Blood Prince.
