American cheese isn't exclusive to America since America technically encompasses 2 continents. Canadian bacon, on the other hand, is a country reference. Thus, everyone in North and South America can eat American cheese whenever they like, but Canadian bacon, that's the only plausible staple food to company your milk bags. Indeed, logic rules the day.

I didn't know there was such a thing as Canadian cheese. By American cheese I didn't mean all cheese made in America, I meant the highly processed kraft singles type of stuff (because that's the name for that kind of cheese).
