$3.70 for premium

The average around here is 3.89 / gallon. $50 to fill up my tank.
As a home health nurse, I drive all day long and these prices are killing me.
Also, it is pretty sad when I get excited about gas only being $3.71.
About $3.79 so far. It's going up every couple of days. :(Theokhoth
It's been floating a little above and below that around here. Hasn't hit $4.00 yet.
I wouldn't **** if it would stay under three. I remember people being like WTF when it hit a dollar a gallon. Oh, the good old days.
It's a good thing that I only gas up a few times a year since I'm attending school. I would be broke if I drove out a lot.
It's £1.35 a litre here in rural England, that's $2.20 per litre at the current exchange rate, or $9.90 per gallon.
My simple solution - take transit.

So how does this help the people who can't take public transit, or live in areas where it's almost nonexistant?
Back on topic, it was 3.79 when I last filled up. I died a little inside.
1.23 a litre. In the summer I can fill my car for $40 (when it was 1.00 or so) and now it just puts it over 3/4.
It will be your wallet thatss gonna give either by continuing with the status quo or by getting a new vehicle. I currently am building a savings account to get a new vehicle outright at this point and time.If I could afford an electric car, I would buy one. Something's gotta' give.

$4.05 here in NY :cry:Sp4rtan_3Luckily there is so much traffic in new york that nobody drives anyways
Why are Americans complaining? you still pay less than $1 per litre and less then any other western country, seriously get over yourselves.chris_yz80If gas prices were like 8 or 9 dollars a gallon that would make my monthly gas costs around 500 bucks a month. There is no way I could afford that. I think its different here in US than it is in other countries. Not to mention the price of everything else would go up because everything needs delievered.
Why are Americans complaining? you still pay less than $1 per litre and less then any other western country, seriously get over yourselves.chris_yz80It's mainly because a direct comparison like that doesn't work. I've lived in the UK when prices were around £1.10 per litre($6.50 per gallon?), and in the US when it was $3.50 per gallon. I spent a lot more money on fuel in the US then I did in the UK. I just had to drive a LOT more in the US then I ever did in the UK. So I don't think it's entirely unjustified for Americans to complain about the prices.
