So what do you all think about these? Personally, I find it a little odd, not to mention a bit demeaning for the girls involved given that I perceive it as an infringement on their independence.

But, in all honesty, this seems like a case of fathers getting a little too overprotective, but at least not in a violent way. Rather, this just seems a little left of center when it comes to overprotectiveness.

How do you people feel about this?

I don't know what they are. I'm not sure I want to know what they are.

True, I do think that teens undergoing abstinence education or being exposed to events that promote abstinence are more likely to get pregnant due to their lack of knowledge about contraception.

Another reason why I blame Religions for a lot of the problems in this world.

If you kept a child from going outside most of his/her life, you know what the one thing they'll want to do more than anything else? Go outside!

You guys have definitely stated the main problem with teen pregnancy is the lack of knowledge.

People need to realize that if you don't want your kids doing something, don't completely keep it out of their lives, freaking educate them!
