It is a significant improvement over any previous version of FF. I switched back to FF from Opera after switching to Opera because FF wasn't running well on my netbook. But now it is.

It's solid. I, however, have been having problems with IE crashing, ever since IE8, to the point where I barely use IE anymore.

not a fan, I liked previous firefox because of its sensible interface, 4 has gone to a chrome style "shiny" mac inspired interface...which is one of the reasons I don't use chrome. Also, it doesn't ask for confirmation when closing multiple tabs, and randomly doesn't save tabs.

That's the beauty of Firefox... it's the most customizable browser on the planet. If you don't like the way something is by default, there's always a way to change it to the way you like it in Firefox.

For instance, it's pretty easy to get the Save Tabs confirmation thing back in Firefox 4...

  1. Type "about:config" in the address bar and hit enter
  2. Type "browser.showQuitWarning" in the filter
  3. Double click the only item that should be in the list due to the filter so that the value changes from "False" to "True"
  4. Restart Firefox

Problem solved in under a minute.

That's what I love about Firefox. There's always a way to change stuff or add stuff to make it the perfect browser for you. No other browser can touch Firefox IMO.

Have they fixed the issue with the incompatibility with Zonealarm security engine?
