Same **** here basically. She didn't have a license so they wouldn't let her get a ticket to go so I skipped out. Great alternative fun we had though. The school deemed my girlfriend too old, so I didn't go.

Never went to mine. Instead of blowing what little money on a rented tux, limo, etc., I wound hitting the 18 and over nightclubs in NYC.
Saw lots of people freaking. It was hilarious because they were all so stiff. Food was okay. Dance floor was tiny. DJ trolled us a few times by putting on Nicki Minaj's Stupid hoe and Friday. Had no date but had fun with friends (I know, I'm a loser). Got to ride in a limo and be pretty for once.
Yeah prom was ok.
I didn't attend any high school dances, but even so there seemed a distinct lack of interest in the prom during my graduating year.
High school prom - Nice place, tasty food, but overall, was kinda boring and overhyped.
College prom - Food and location not as good, but was a million times better and more fun than the high school prom.
Next one is the uni graduation ball in 2014. So I'll let you know then if that will be the best one. Maybe. :P
Mine was meh. Food was crap, dancing floor was tiny, and I didnt get laid. After prom we went to Roscoes Chicken and Waffles and went home. My date was super hot though.Capitan_Kid
Too bad you didn't f*ck her.
I had a pretty bad junior prom. My date was pretty awful. I didn't bother to go senior year, but I ended up having lots of fun at after parties that night regardless.
Drama, booze, and a total waste of money now that I look back on it. But it was fun while it lasted, and going to 2 proms was a blast.
I went to two proms with the same girl who was a year younger than me thus going to my senior prom and her senior prom. I went with the purpose of enjoying my time with her - which I did. As such, both occasions were good memories. mindstormno surprise, being that your name is an anagram of romance and all. >.>

Boring. Didn't even want to go, was dragged to it by a friend who didn't have a date. Oh well, worse things have happened.
What school you went to?I found out about the prom the same day as it took place so I never went. I really regret it because my prom was at the town hall of Stockholm. A very nice place indeed.

Didn't have one since I was home schooled. But judging from this thread i'm either not alone, or I didn't miss much.
Easily one of the best nights in all of high school. I had a sexy date, went with all of my friends (many of which would have normally been to shy), a rich friends parents got someone to take us in their nice as hell winnebago. Super skanky dancing with pretty girls. Went to said friends house afterwords and all sorts of shinnanigans went down there.
It was more than 30 years ago, so I barely remember.
But it did involve a bush party, hundreds of people, illegal camping in some godforsaken place, whatever booze or drugs you wanted, several cars totalled in accidents, a couple of people with broken limbs from falling down drunk or wasted or both, debauchery of all kinds...and strangely enough I don't recall any violence/fights...just a lot of partying, followed by mellow, followed by waking up in a tent in the middle of nowhere around noon.
