So i don't have a facebook.......

But i have a gamespot account;) Is there anyone else in the entire world that doesn't have a facebook or am i the lone person, because every single friendof mine has one.And no i don't really have a reason for not getting one, i just haven't taken the 2 minutes it would take to make one. Anyone else in this situation??

I don't have one, either. I shutdown my account about two months ago. If all of the people whom you'll be using Facebook to communicate with can be reached via other mediums (i.e. in person, over the phone, through Skype, etc.), then Facebook is utterly pointless. If you decide to make a Facebook account, prepare yourself for useless status updates, picture spamming, and all sorts of apps and advertisements which ruin and defeat the entire point of the site. Skip it.

I don't have one. Not saying it's bad, but I just never saw a reason to get one. My wife is on it all of the time and I just let her post my picture if she feels inclined to.

I have never had a FB page-account-whatever. One of my goals in life is to die without a FB page.

I've been there and got rid of it. Quite happy really, as I can concentrate on other things.

I don't have one, never had one, not planning to get one. It's a good site, as explained by BMD004, but I don't personally feel the need for it.

I have facebook, but I'm not one of the people that can stay on it all day. And I've never had an inclination to play farmville or anything. I use it mostly for organizing, school and people's birthdays.

I recently reactivated my account to keep in touch with friends overseas, but I have little use for it other than that.

Facebook just doesn't interest me much anymore.

The best thing about facebook is that it allows you to communicate with a lot of people at once, very easily.

You could invite lots of people to a event, you can create a status and tag like 10 people, you can send a message to a group of people, you can start a group with your close friends. Its incredibly convinent for organizing things among a number of people.

Being a social guy, its good to be able to easily mass communicate with people to organize parties/outings/meetings.

It's very useful to keep updated with everyone, the less social you are the more useful it is if you think about it.

Haha, I actually like the guy more because of that quote. People are/were dumb for uploading so much personal information. He is completely in the right by saying that.

Also, are you sure its legit? "The exchange apparently ran like this:" Yeah, sure it did.

I have one, but it's not as great as everyone says it is.

The only reason I even made one was because my friends were telling me how good it was and that I should make one. Its all a waste of time IMO.

Facebook is free stalking, and knowing everything about everyone. I don't really care for it anymore. Was active for about a year and a half, but just deleted it like 3 months ago.

If you don't wanna make one, don't. Hell the only reason why I made my facebook account was because my ex (back when she wasn't my ex). It's useful though for getting in touch with people when you don't have their phone numbers and they're in the "I like this person, but not enough that I want to talk with him on the phone, I'll just facebook message him" category of people you know.
