It was nothing, really. Me and my parents went down to the community center, and stood in line for about... I don't know, two minutes. Some guy tried to tell us that I couldn't get mine, but my parents were fine. But we straightened him out, and I got it. Stood around at the registration thing for about eight minutes, while my dad filled out the paperwork. I just stood there, listening to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Then we moved over to the nurse's table, and for some reason, she got it in mind that I was a little slow, I think. She was treating me like Kramer from that Seinfeld episode with Jimmy. I got the shot, and it didn't hurt at all. But there was an... unpleasant pressure in my shoulder area. It wasn't that bad. After that, my dad and I rejoined with my mom, at a different table. I told her about how the nurse treated me like I was slow, she laughed, and we went into the "fifteen minute waiting area" to make sure we didn't faint, or something. I just listened to a few Metallica songs, and we left.
It hasn't made me feel any different, my mind isn't being controlled by the government, and I haven't been turned into a chicken-man-super-soldier, despite the idea I got from Bones. And I'm fairly sure I don't have FOXDIE in me. So that's a relief, not dying, and everything. Although, it would have been cool to meet Snake.
Anybody else get the shot? I don't understand the conspiracy theories, really. I commented on the way home, actually. I said, "I'm listening to a good song for today. A Rite of Passage. About freemasonry, and illuminati, and that crap. If I start growing laser-guns on my arms, and x-ray vision, I'll believe there might be something up with the shot. Then, I'll walk around being awesome, with a freakin' laser gun."
