So I just finished Death Note.

:shock: Omg. That was an intense ending. And what a brilliant story. And usually I watch anime subbed but the dubbed version was done very well.

I didn't like it that much. It was good quality though.

Yes, it's a great show. I don't see why people say it's so overrated. I know that some people won't like it, and that's fine... But I think "overrated" comes from the fact that it just got a lot more exposure, not necessarily its quality. Although I can't argue with the second half not being as good. I liked the ending, though. It's much better than the way the vast majority of anime end (with open endings.). I like how it actually concluded.

Was great at the beginning then slowly went downhill but was still good.

It's one of the few "mainstream" manga/anime that aren't crap besides the fact that Tsugumi Ohba is a horrible mangaka.

Yea Death Note was pretty good. Have you tried Code Geass though? Its similar but its more like Death Note meet Gundam.Shottayouth13-

Yeah I hated Near.. He was SOO BS.. he just pulled answers out of his @$$... L actually came up with them in logical ways but Near somehow just saw through Lights perfect plans with no real explaination

Anybody else find it ironic that....

[spoiler] Light was incredibly smart but he ended up dying but Misa was one of less intelligent characters but she lived? [/spoiler]
