And they were amazing. I've been to Slayer shows and of course, Iced Earth shows. But Slipknot really gives it their all. I mean, Cory said he was fighting a cold and a bad throat. But he was still giving it his all and it didn't even sound like he was sick. One of the best shows I've been to. I could have done without Coheed and Cambria though. Damn their horrible. So any of you see Slipknot live?
Yeah, saw them with Machine Head in Auckland, NZ. Great, great show. Regardless of whether or not you like them, they put on one hell of a show. It was crazy, the crowd was crazier than any gig I've been to, that includes Slayer.

Actually, I wasn't supposed to go. My friend had an extra ticket and I said **** it. So I went. It was my first time seeing them live and I was blown away by how good of a show they put on.
I used to listen to them in 8th grade (5 years ago) and saw them live once at the House of Blues in Universal City. They were good but I don't really listen to them anymore..

I just saw them last weekend (Sunday January 25th) with Coheed and Trivium. My ears are still ringing and Slipknot put on a great show. That was the second time I have saw them.. the last time they were in town they caused riots.
yes. i've seen them live, Corey is great. i saw them with disturbed, five finger death punch, some other bands, over the summer time. i saw Corey and Jim in Stone Sour a couple of times. it's Corey, James from slipknot and some other people. where was the concert? what songs did they sing? things off their newer album all hope is gone.
I'm not sure if I've seen Slipknot twice or three times, to be honest. The first time didn't count though, as it was at Ozzfest and the sound was utterly screwed. All i could here was warbling bass and the bass drum, and the odd vocal here and there. Terrible. The other time(s) i saw them when their sound was in order, they were great. I'm not a huge Slipknot fan, but they do put on a great show. Their audience is often some of the dumbest around, but i can deal with that.
I saw them back in 06. It was good but they had almost no energy on stage. I just saw 3 Inches of Blood, Decepticide, and Korupture and they have to be some of the most energetic musicians I've ever seen.
